اَلْوَاقِعَة

96 Ayaat مکیۃ

56:81

اَفَبِهٰذَا الْحَدِیْثِ اَنْتُمْ مُّدْهِنُوْنَۙ(۸۱)

Then why do you dissimulate this Revelation?

Is it such a Message that ye would hold in light esteem?

56:82

وَ تَجْعَلُوْنَ رِزْقَكُمْ اَنَّكُمْ تُكَذِّبُوْنَ(۸۲)

You live by calling it a lie.

And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false?

56:83

فَلَوْ لَاۤ اِذَا بَلَغَتِ الْحُلْقُوْمَۙ(۸۳)

Then how is it that when the (dying) breath is withdrawn into the throat (and rattles),

Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,-

56:84

وَ اَنْتُمْ حِیْنَىٕذٍ تَنْظُرُوْنَۙ(۸۴)

And you wait for the moment (of death),

And ye the while (sit) looking on,-

56:85

وَ نَحْنُ اَقْرَبُ اِلَیْهِ مِنْكُمْ وَ لٰكِنْ لَّا تُبْصِرُوْنَ(۸۵)

We are closer to him than you, even though you cannot see?

But We are nearer to him than ye, and yet see not,-

56:86

فَلَوْ لَاۤ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ غَیْرَ مَدِیْنِیْنَۙ(۸۶)

Then why, if you are not indebted (to Us for life),

Then why do ye not,- If you are exempt from (future) account,-

56:87

تَرْجِعُوْنَهَاۤ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ صٰدِقِیْنَ(۸۷)

Can you not bring him back? (Answer) if you are truthful

Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)?

56:88

فَاَمَّاۤ اِنْ كَانَ مِنَ الْمُقَرَّبِیْنَۙ(۸۸)

Then, if he is one of the honoured,

Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah,

56:89

فَرَوْحٌ وَّ رَیْحَانٌ ﳔ وَّ جَنَّتُ نَعِیْمٍ(۸۹)

There will be peace and plenty, and gardens of tranquility for him.

(There is for him) Rest and Satisfaction, and a Garden of Delights.

56:90

وَ اَمَّاۤ اِنْ كَانَ مِنْ اَصْحٰبِ الْیَمِیْنِۙ(۹۰)

If he is of those of the right hand,

And if he be of the Companions of the Right Hand,

56:91

فَسَلٰمٌ لَّكَ مِنْ اَصْحٰبِ الْیَمِیْنِؕ(۹۱)

There will be the salutation by those of the right hand: "Peace on you.

(For him is the salutation), "Peace be unto thee", from the Companions of the Right Hand.

56:92

وَ اَمَّاۤ اِنْ كَانَ مِنَ الْمُكَذِّبِیْنَ الضَّآلِّیْنَۙ(۹۲)

But if he is of the deniers and the errants,

And if he be of those who treat (Truth) as Falsehood, who go wrong,

56:93

فَنُزُلٌ مِّنْ حَمِیْمٍۙ(۹۳)

The welcome will be boiling water

For him is Entertainment with Boiling Water.

56:94

وَّ تَصْلِیَةُ جَحِیْمٍ(۹۴)

And the roasting in Hell.

And burning in Hell-Fire.

56:95

اِنَّ هٰذَا لَهُوَ حَقُّ الْیَقِیْنِۚ(۹۵)

This is indeed the ultimate truth.

Verily, this is the Very Truth and Certainly.

56:96

فَسَبِّحْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الْعَظِیْمِ۠(۹۶)

Then praise your Lord, the most supreme.

So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme.
