اَلْقَمَر

55 Ayaat مکیۃ

54:41

وَ لَقَدْ جَآءَ اٰلَ فِرْعَوْنَ النُّذُرُۚ(۴۱)

The warnings came to the people of Pharaoh.

54:42

كَذَّبُوْا بِاٰیٰتِنَا كُلِّهَا فَاَخَذْنٰهُمْ اَخْذَ عَزِیْزٍ مُّقْتَدِرٍ(۴۲)

They rejected each one of Our signs. So We seized them with the grip of one mighty and powerful.

54:43

اَكُفَّارُكُمْ خَیْرٌ مِّنْ اُولٰٓىٕكُمْ اَمْ لَكُمْ بَرَآءَةٌ فِی الزُّبُرِۚ(۴۳)

Are the unbelievers among you any better than they? Or is there immunity for you in the Scriptures?

54:44

اَمْ یَقُوْلُوْنَ نَحْنُ جَمِیْعٌ مُّنْتَصِرٌ(۴۴)

Or do they say: "We are a well-accoutred army?"

54:45

سَیُهْزَمُ الْجَمْعُ وَ یُوَلُّوْنَ الدُّبُرَ(۴۵)

The army will be routed and put to flight.

54:46

بَلِ السَّاعَةُ مَوْعِدُهُمْ وَ السَّاعَةُ اَدْهٰى وَ اَمَرُّ(۴۶)

Surely the Hour will be the moment of their promise, and that moment will be calamitous and distressing.

54:47

اِنَّ الْمُجْرِمِیْنَ فِیْ ضَلٰلٍ وَّ سُعُرٍۘ(۴۷)

Surely the sinners are misguided and insane.

54:48

یَوْمَ یُسْحَبُوْنَ فِی النَّارِ عَلٰى وُجُوْهِهِمْؕ-ذُوْقُوْا مَسَّ سَقَرَ(۴۸)

On that Day they will be dragged into the fire faces foremost, (and told:) "Taste the feel of Hell."

54:49

اِنَّا كُلَّ شَیْءٍ خَلَقْنٰهُ بِقَدَرٍ(۴۹)

We have indeed created all things by measure;

54:50

وَ مَاۤ اَمْرُنَاۤ اِلَّا وَاحِدَةٌ كَلَمْحٍۭ بِالْبَصَرِ(۵۰)

And Our command is but one (word) swift as the winking of an eye.

54:51

وَ لَقَدْ اَهْلَكْنَاۤ اَشْیَاعَكُمْ فَهَلْ مِنْ مُّدَّكِرٍ(۵۱)

We have destroyed the likes of you in the past: So is there any one who will be warned?

54:52

وَ كُلُّ شَیْءٍ فَعَلُوْهُ فِی الزُّبُرِ(۵۲)

All things they do are (recorded) in the books;

54:53

وَ كُلُّ صَغِیْرٍ وَّ كَبِیْرٍ مُّسْتَطَرٌ(۵۳)

All things small or great have been written down.

54:54

اِنَّ الْمُتَّقِیْنَ فِیْ جَنّٰتٍ وَّ نَهَرٍۙ(۵۴)

Surely those who fear God and follow the straight path will be amidst gardens and light,

54:55

فِیْ مَقْعَدِ صِدْقٍ عِنْدَ مَلِیْكٍ مُّقْتَدِرٍ۠(۵۵)

At the still centre in the proximity of the King all-powerful.
