10:41

وَ اِنْ كَذَّبُوْكَ فَقُلْ لِّیْ عَمَلِیْ وَ لَكُمْ عَمَلُكُمْۚ-اَنْتُمْ بَرِیْٓــٴُـوْنَ مِمَّاۤ اَعْمَلُ وَ اَنَا بَرِیْٓءٌ مِّمَّا تَعْمَلُوْنَ(۴۱)

If they (still) call you a liar, tell them: "For me my actions, for you yours. You are not answerable for my deeds, nor I for what you do."

10:42

وَ مِنْهُمْ مَّنْ یَّسْتَمِعُوْنَ اِلَیْكَؕ-اَفَاَنْتَ تُسْمِعُ الصُّمَّ وَ لَوْ كَانُوْا لَا یَعْقِلُوْنَ(۴۲)

Some of them listen to you: But can you make the deaf hear who do not understand a thing?

10:43

وَ مِنْهُمْ مَّنْ یَّنْظُرُ اِلَیْكَؕ-اَفَاَنْتَ تَهْدِی الْعُمْیَ وَ لَوْ كَانُوْا لَا یُبْصِرُوْنَ(۴۳)

Some of them look toward you: But can you show the blind the way even when they cannot see?

10:44

اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا یَظْلِمُ النَّاسَ شَیْــٴًـا وَّ لٰكِنَّ النَّاسَ اَنْفُسَهُمْ یَظْلِمُوْنَ(۴۴)

Surely God does not wrong anyone; they wrong themselves.

10:45

وَ یَوْمَ یَحْشُرُهُمْ كَاَنْ لَّمْ یَلْبَثُوْۤا اِلَّا سَاعَةً مِّنَ النَّهَارِ یَتَعَارَفُوْنَ بَیْنَهُمْؕ-قَدْ خَسِرَ الَّذِیْنَ كَذَّبُوْا بِلِقَآءِ اللّٰهِ وَ مَا كَانُوْا مُهْتَدِیْنَ(۴۵)

The day He will gather them together it will appear to them that they had lived (in the world) but an hour of a day to make each other´s acquaintance. Verily those who deny the meeting with God will be lost, and not find the way.

10:46

وَ اِمَّا نُرِیَنَّكَ بَعْضَ الَّذِیْ نَعِدُهُمْ اَوْ نَتَوَفَّیَنَّكَ فَاِلَیْنَا مَرْجِعُهُمْ ثُمَّ اللّٰهُ شَهِیْدٌ عَلٰى مَا یَفْعَلُوْنَ(۴۶)

Whether We show you some of the promise (of punishment in wait) for them, or take you to Ourself, their returning is to Us in the end; and God is a witness to all they do.

10:47

وَ لِكُلِّ اُمَّةٍ رَّسُوْلٌۚ-فَاِذَا جَآءَ رَسُوْلُهُمْ قُضِیَ بَیْنَهُمْ بِالْقِسْطِ وَ هُمْ لَا یُظْلَمُوْنَ(۴۷)

For every people there is an apostle; and when their apostle is come the matter is decided between them equitably, and no one is wronged.

10:48

وَ یَقُوْلُوْنَ مَتٰى هٰذَا الْوَعْدُ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ صٰدِقِیْنَ(۴۸)

They say: "When is this promise going to come, if what you say is true?"

10:49

قُلْ لَّاۤ اَمْلِكُ لِنَفْسِیْ ضَرًّا وَّ لَا نَفْعًا اِلَّا مَا شَآءَ اللّٰهُؕ-لِكُلِّ اُمَّةٍ اَجَلٌؕ-اِذَا جَآءَ اَجَلُهُمْ فَلَا یَسْتَاْخِرُوْنَ سَاعَةً وَّ لَا یَسْتَقْدِمُوْنَ(۴۹)

Say: "I have no power over my own gain or loss other than what God may please." Every people have a certain term. When their time is come they can neither delay it an hour nor advance it a moment forward.

10:50

قُلْ اَرَءَیْتُمْ اِنْ اَتٰىكُمْ عَذَابُهٗ بَیَاتًا اَوْ نَهَارًا مَّا ذَا یَسْتَعْجِلُ مِنْهُ الْمُجْرِمُوْنَ(۵۰)

Say: "Have you ever thought if His punishment befalls you at night or in the day, what would the sinners do to despatch it?

10:51

اَثُمَّ اِذَا مَا وَقَعَ اٰمَنْتُمْ بِهٖؕ- ﰰ لْــٴٰـنَ وَ قَدْ كُنْتُمْ بِهٖ تَسْتَعْجِلُوْنَ(۵۱)

Will you believe it when it comes to pass? Indeed, you will believe it then. How impatient you were to hasten it!

10:52

ثُمَّ قِیْلَ لِلَّذِیْنَ ظَلَمُوْا ذُوْقُوْا عَذَابَ الْخُلْدِۚ-هَلْ تُجْزَوْنَ اِلَّا بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَكْسِبُوْنَ(۵۲)

Then will the sinners be told: "Now taste everlasting torment. Should you be rewarded for anything else but what you did?"

10:53

وَ یَسْتَنْۢبِــٴُـوْنَكَ اَحَقٌّ هُوَ ﳳ-قُلْ اِیْ وَ رَبِّیْۤ اِنَّهٗ لَحَقٌّ ﱢ وَ مَاۤ اَنْتُمْ بِمُعْجِزِیْنَ۠(۵۳)

Yet they want to be informed if it is true. Say: "By my Lord, it is the truth. You cannot invalidate it."

10:54

وَ لَوْ اَنَّ لِكُلِّ نَفْسٍ ظَلَمَتْ مَا فِی الْاَرْضِ لَافْتَدَتْ بِهٖؕ-وَ اَسَرُّوا النَّدَامَةَ لَمَّا رَاَوُا الْعَذَابَۚ-وَ قُضِیَ بَیْنَهُمْ بِالْقِسْطِ وَ هُمْ لَا یُظْلَمُوْنَ(۵۴)

Even if every soul that has sinned possessed whatever is on the earth, it would surely offer it to ransom itself, and feel repentant on seeing the punishment. Yet the sentence would be passed with justice, and not one will be wronged.

10:55

اَلَاۤ اِنَّ لِلّٰهِ مَا فِی السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الْاَرْضِؕ-اَلَاۤ اِنَّ وَعْدَ اللّٰهِ حَقٌّ وَّ لٰكِنَّ اَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا یَعْلَمُوْنَ(۵۵)

For all that is in the heavens and the earth belongs to God. Remember, the promise of God is true. But most of them do not know.

10:56

هُوَ یُحْیٖ وَ یُمِیْتُ وَ اِلَیْهِ تُرْجَعُوْنَ(۵۶)

He is the giver of life and death, and to Him you will return.

10:57

یٰۤاَیُّهَا النَّاسُ قَدْ جَآءَتْكُمْ مَّوْعِظَةٌ مِّنْ رَّبِّكُمْ وَ شِفَآءٌ لِّمَا فِی الصُّدُوْرِۙ۬-وَ هُدًى وَّ رَحْمَةٌ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ(۵۷)

O men, a warning has come to you from your Lord, a remedy for the (doubts) of the heart, and a guidance and grace for those who believe.

10:58

قُلْ بِفَضْلِ اللّٰهِ وَ بِرَحْمَتِهٖ فَبِذٰلِكَ فَلْیَفْرَحُوْاؕ-هُوَ خَیْرٌ مِّمَّا یَجْمَعُوْنَ(۵۸)

Say: "It is the blessing and mercy of God; so rejoice in it. It is better than all that you amass."

10:59

قُلْ اَرَءَیْتُمْ مَّاۤ اَنْزَلَ اللّٰهُ لَكُمْ مِّنْ رِّزْقٍ فَجَعَلْتُمْ مِّنْهُ حَرَامًا وَّ حَلٰلًاؕ-قُلْ ﰰ للّٰهُ اَذِنَ لَكُمْ اَمْ عَلَى اللّٰهِ تَفْتَرُوْنَ(۵۹)

Say: "Have you thought of what God has sent you for food, of which you have labelled some as lawful and some forbidden?" And ask: "Has God commanded this, or you are imputing lies to God?"

10:60

وَ مَا ظَنُّ الَّذِیْنَ یَفْتَرُوْنَ عَلَى اللّٰهِ الْكَذِبَ یَوْمَ الْقِیٰمَةِؕ-اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَذُوْ فَضْلٍ عَلَى النَّاسِ وَ لٰكِنَّ اَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا یَشْكُرُوْنَ۠(۶۰)

What do those who invent lies of God think about the Day of Reckoning? (Will they escape the judgement?) In fact God is gracious to men; but most of them are not grateful.

10:61

وَ مَا تَكُوْنُ فِیْ شَاْنٍ وَّ مَا تَتْلُوْا مِنْهُ مِنْ قُرْاٰنٍ وَّ لَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ مِنْ عَمَلٍ اِلَّا كُنَّا عَلَیْكُمْ شُهُوْدًا اِذْ تُفِیْضُوْنَ فِیْهِؕ-وَ مَا یَعْزُبُ عَنْ رَّبِّكَ مِنْ مِّثْقَالِ ذَرَّةٍ فِی الْاَرْضِ وَ لَا فِی السَّمَآءِ وَ لَاۤ اَصْغَرَ مِنْ ذٰلِكَ وَ لَاۤ اَكْبَرَ اِلَّا فِیْ كِتٰبٍ مُّبِیْنٍ(۶۱)

There is no state you are in, whether reading from the Qur´an, or doing something else, but We are watching you as you are engaged in it. There is not the weight of an atom on the earth and in the heavens that is hidden from your Lord, nor is there anything smaller or greater than this but is recorded in the perspicuous Book.

10:62

اَلَاۤ اِنَّ اَوْلِیَآءَ اللّٰهِ لَا خَوْفٌ عَلَیْهِمْ وَ لَا هُمْ یَحْزَنُوْنَۚۖ(۶۲)

Remember, there is neither fear nor regret for the friends of God.

10:63

الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَ كَانُوْا یَتَّقُوْنَؕ(۶۳)

Those who believe and obey God,

10:64

لَهُمُ الْبُشْرٰى فِی الْحَیٰوةِ الدُّنْیَا وَ فِی الْاٰخِرَةِؕ-لَا تَبْدِیْلَ لِكَلِمٰتِ اللّٰهِؕ-ذٰلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِیْمُؕ(۶۴)

For them is good news in the life of the world and in the life to come. There is no changing the words of God. That will be the great triumph.

10:65

وَ لَا یَحْزُنْكَ قَوْلُهُمْۘ-اِنَّ الْعِزَّةَ لِلّٰهِ جَمِیْعًاؕ-هُوَ السَّمِیْعُ الْعَلِیْمُ(۶۵)

You should not be grieved by what they say. All glory is wholly for God: He is the one who hears and knows everything.

10:66

اَلَاۤ اِنَّ لِلّٰهِ مَنْ فِی السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ مَنْ فِی الْاَرْضِؕ-وَ مَا یَتَّبِـعُ الَّذِیْنَ یَدْعُوْنَ مِنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ شُرَكَآءَؕ-اِنْ یَّتَّبِعُوْنَ اِلَّا الظَّنَّ وَ اِنْ هُمْ اِلَّا یَخْرُصُوْنَ(۶۶)

Remember, whosoever is in the heavens and the earth belongs to God. Those who call on others they associate with God, follow nothing but conjecture, and only guess.

10:67

هُوَ الَّذِیْ جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الَّیْلَ لِتَسْكُنُوْا فِیْهِ وَ النَّهَارَ مُبْصِرًاؕ-اِنَّ فِیْ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰیٰتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ یَّسْمَعُوْنَ(۶۷)

It is He who made the night for you to rest, and made the day enlightening. Indeed there are signs in this for those who listen.

10:68

قَالُوا اتَّخَذَ اللّٰهُ وَلَدًا سُبْحٰنَهٗؕ-هُوَ الْغَنِیُّؕ-لَهٗ مَا فِی السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ مَا فِی الْاَرْضِؕ-اِنْ عِنْدَكُمْ مِّنْ سُلْطٰنٍۭ بِهٰذَاؕ-اَتَقُوْلُوْنَ عَلَى اللّٰهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُوْنَ(۶۸)

They say: "God has begotten a son." Immaculate is He and self-sufficient." Whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth belongs to Him. You have no proof for this (assertion): Why do you say things of God you do not know?

10:69

قُلْ اِنَّ الَّذِیْنَ یَفْتَرُوْنَ عَلَى اللّٰهِ الْكَذِبَ لَا یُفْلِحُوْنَؕ(۶۹)

Say: "Those who fabricate lies about God will never succeed."

10:70

مَتَاعٌ فِی الدُّنْیَا ثُمَّ اِلَیْنَا مَرْجِعُهُمْ ثُمَّ نُذِیْقُهُمُ الْعَذَابَ الشَّدِیْدَ بِمَا كَانُوْا یَكْفُرُوْنَ۠(۷۰)

Let them profit by the world (while they may): In the end they will come back to Us. Then We shall make them taste severe punishment for having denied (the truth).

10:71

وَ اتْلُ عَلَیْهِمْ نَبَاَ نُوْحٍۘ-اِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهٖ یٰقَوْمِ اِنْ كَانَ كَبُرَ عَلَیْكُمْ مَّقَامِیْ وَ تَذْكِیْرِیْ بِاٰیٰتِ اللّٰهِ فَعَلَى اللّٰهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ فَاَجْمِعُوْۤا اَمْرَكُمْ وَ شُرَكَآءَكُمْ ثُمَّ لَا یَكُنْ اَمْرُكُمْ عَلَیْكُمْ غُمَّةً ثُمَّ اقْضُوْۤا اِلَیَّ وَ لَا تُنْظِرُوْنِ(۷۱)

Recount to them the story of Noah when he said to his people: "O people, if you find my staying with you and warning through God´s signs, unbearable to you, know that I have reposed my trust in God. So plan your move, and call your associates, and make certain of your plan; then do whatever you intend against me, allowing me no respite.

10:72

فَاِنْ تَوَلَّیْتُمْ فَمَا سَاَلْتُكُمْ مِّنْ اَجْرٍؕ-اِنْ اَجْرِیَ اِلَّا عَلَى اللّٰهِۙ-وَ اُمِرْتُ اَنْ اَكُوْنَ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِیْنَ(۷۲)

If you turn away from me (remember) I do not ask any recompense from you. My reward is with God; I have been commanded to be one of those who submit to Him."

10:73

فَكَذَّبُوْهُ فَنَجَّیْنٰهُ وَ مَنْ مَّعَهٗ فِی الْفُلْكِ وَ جَعَلْنٰهُمْ خَلٰٓىٕفَ وَ اَغْرَقْنَا الَّذِیْنَ كَذَّبُوْا بِاٰیٰتِنَاۚ-فَانْظُرْ كَیْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُنْذَرِیْنَ(۷۳)

Even then they denied him; so We saved him and those with him, in the ark, and established them in the land, and drowned those who denied Our signs. So think of the fate of those who were warned (and took no heed).

10:74

ثُمَّ بَعَثْنَا مِنْۢ بَعْدِهٖ رُسُلًا اِلٰى قَوْمِهِمْ فَجَآءُوْهُمْ بِالْبَیِّنٰتِ فَمَا كَانُوْا لِیُؤْمِنُوْا بِمَا كَذَّبُوْا بِهٖ مِنْ قَبْلُؕ-كَذٰلِكَ نَطْبَعُ عَلٰى قُلُوْبِ الْمُعْتَدِیْنَ(۷۴)

Afterwards We sent many messengers who brought clear proofs to their peoples. But they were not prepared to believe what they had once denied. That is how We seal the hearts of the iniquitous.

10:75

ثُمَّ بَعَثْنَا مِنْۢ بَعْدِهِمْ مُّوْسٰى وَ هٰرُوْنَ اِلٰى فِرْعَوْنَ وَ مَلَاۡىٕهٖ بِاٰیٰتِنَا فَاسْتَكْبَرُوْا وَ كَانُوْا قَوْمًا مُّجْرِمِیْنَ(۷۵)

Then after them We sent Moses and Aaron with Our signs to the Pharaoh and his nobles; but they behaved arrogantly, for they were a people full of guilt.

10:76

فَلَمَّا جَآءَهُمُ الْحَقُّ مِنْ عِنْدِنَا قَالُوْۤا اِنَّ هٰذَا لَسِحْرٌ مُّبِیْنٌ(۷۶)

Thus, when the truth had come to them from Us, they said: "Surely this is nothing but pure magic."

10:77

قَالَ مُوْسٰۤى اَتَقُوْلُوْنَ لِلْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَآءَكُمْؕ-اَسِحْرٌ هٰذَاؕ-وَ لَا یُفْلِحُ السّٰحِرُوْنَ(۷۷)

"You say this of the truth," said Moses, "after it has come to you. Is this magic? But sorcerers do not ever prosper."

10:78

قَالُوْۤا اَجِئْتَنَا لِتَلْفِتَنَا عَمَّا وَجَدْنَا عَلَیْهِ اٰبَآءَنَا وَ تَكُوْنَ لَكُمَا الْكِبْرِیَآءُ فِی الْاَرْضِؕ-وَ مَا نَحْنُ لَكُمَا بِمُؤْمِنِیْنَ(۷۸)

"Have you come," said they, "to turn us back from what we found our ancestors doing, so that the two of you may attain supremacy in the land? We shall not believe in what you say.

10:79

وَ قَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ ائْتُوْنِیْ بِكُلِّ سٰحِرٍ عَلِیْمٍ(۷۹)

"Bring the cleverest magicians to me," said the Pharaoh.

10:80

فَلَمَّا جَآءَ السَّحَرَةُ قَالَ لَهُمْ مُّوْسٰۤى اَلْقُوْا مَاۤ اَنْتُمْ مُّلْقُوْنَ(۸۰)

So when the magicians arrived, Moses said to them: "Cast whatever (spell) you have to cast."
