Surah az-Zukhruf

اَلزُّخْرُف
89 Ayaat    مکیۃ


43:41
فَاِمَّا نَذْهَبَنَّ بِكَ فَاِنَّا مِنْهُمْ مُّنْتَقِمُوْنَۙ(۴۱)
We shall punish them whether We take you away,
43:42
اَوْ نُرِیَنَّكَ الَّذِیْ وَعَدْنٰهُمْ فَاِنَّا عَلَیْهِمْ مُّقْتَدِرُوْنَ(۴۲)
Or show you some of what We have promised them. They are certainly well within Our power.
43:43
فَاسْتَمْسِكْ بِالَّذِیْۤ اُوْحِیَ اِلَیْكَۚ-اِنَّكَ عَلٰى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِیْمٍ(۴۳)
So hold fast to what has been revealed to you. You are truly on the right path.
43:44
وَ اِنَّهٗ لَذِكْرٌ لَّكَ وَ لِقَوْمِكَۚ-وَ سَوْفَ تُسْــٴَـلُوْنَ(۴۴)
It is a (source) of greatness for you and your people. You will surely be questioned about it.
43:45
وَ سْــٴَـلْ مَنْ اَرْسَلْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ مِنْ رُّسُلِنَاۤ اَجَعَلْنَا مِنْ دُوْنِ الرَّحْمٰنِ اٰلِهَةً یُّعْبَدُوْنَ۠(۴۵)
Inquire of apostles We had sent before you if We appointed gods to be worshipped other than Ar-Rahman.
43:46
وَ لَقَدْ اَرْسَلْنَا مُوْسٰى بِاٰیٰتِنَاۤ اِلٰى فِرْعَوْنَ وَ مَلَاۡىٕهٖ فَقَالَ اِنِّیْ رَسُوْلُ رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِیْنَ(۴۶)
We sent Moses with Our signs to the Pharaoh and his nobles. He said: "I have been sent by the Lord of all the worlds."
43:47
فَلَمَّا جَآءَهُمْ بِاٰیٰتِنَاۤ اِذَا هُمْ مِّنْهَا یَضْحَكُوْنَ(۴۷)
But when he brought to them Our signs they laughed at them,
43:48
وَ مَا نُرِیْهِمْ مِّنْ اٰیَةٍ اِلَّا هِیَ اَكْبَرُ مِنْ اُخْتِهَا٘-وَ اَخَذْنٰهُمْ بِالْعَذَابِ لَعَلَّهُمْ یَرْجِعُوْنَ(۴۸)
(Even though) each miracle that We showed them was greater than the other. So We seized them with chastisement so that they may turn back.
43:49
وَ قَالُوْا یٰۤاَیُّهَ السّٰحِرُ ادْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ بِمَا عَهِدَ عِنْدَكَۚ-اِنَّنَا لَمُهْتَدُوْنَ(۴۹)
But they said: "O sorcerer, call on your Lord for us in accordance with the compact He has made with you. We shall certainly come to guidance."
43:50
فَلَمَّا كَشَفْنَا عَنْهُمُ الْعَذَابَ اِذَا هُمْ یَنْكُثُوْنَ(۵۰)
Yet no sooner did We take away the affliction from them than they broke their pledge.
43:51
وَ نَادٰى فِرْعَوْنُ فِیْ قَوْمِهٖ قَالَ یٰقَوْمِ اَلَیْسَ لِیْ مُلْكُ مِصْرَ وَ هٰذِهِ الْاَنْهٰرُ تَجْرِیْ مِنْ تَحْتِیْۚ-اَفَلَا تُبْصِرُوْنَؕ(۵۱)
And the Pharaoh said to his people: "O people, is not mine the kingdom of Egypt and these rivers that flow at my feet? Can you still not comprehend?
43:52
اَمْ اَنَا خَیْرٌ مِّنْ هٰذَا الَّذِیْ هُوَ مَهِیْنٌ ﳔ وَّ لَا یَكَادُ یُبِیْنُ(۵۲)
Am I (not) better than him who is contemptible, and cannot even express himself clearly?
43:53
فَلَوْ لَاۤ اُلْقِیَ عَلَیْهِ اَسْوِرَةٌ مِّنْ ذَهَبٍ اَوْ جَآءَ مَعَهُ الْمَلٰٓىٕكَةُ مُقْتَرِنِیْنَ(۵۳)
Why were then no bracelets of gold shed upon him from above, or angels sent down as a retinue with him?"
43:54
فَاسْتَخَفَّ قَوْمَهٗ فَاَطَاعُوْهُؕ-اِنَّهُمْ كَانُوْا قَوْمًا فٰسِقِیْنَ(۵۴)
Thus he made light (of the matter) to his people, and they obeyed him. They were certainly wicked.
43:55
فَلَمَّاۤ اٰسَفُوْنَا انْتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ فَاَغْرَقْنٰهُمْ اَجْمَعِیْنَۙ(۵۵)
But when they roused Our anger We inflicted retributive punishment and drowned them all,
43:56
فَجَعَلْنٰهُمْ سَلَفًا وَّ مَثَلًا لِّلْاٰخِرِیْنَ۠(۵۶)
And made them a precedent and example for posterity.
43:57
وَ لَمَّا ضُرِبَ ابْنُ مَرْیَمَ مَثَلًا اِذَا قَوْمُكَ مِنْهُ یَصِدُّوْنَ(۵۷)
When the example of Mary´s son is quoted before them, your people cry out at it,
43:58
وَ قَالُوْۤا ءَاٰلِهَتُنَا خَیْرٌ اَمْ هُوَؕ-مَا ضَرَبُوْهُ لَكَ اِلَّا جَدَلًاؕ-بَلْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ خَصِمُوْنَ(۵۸)
And say: "Are our deities better or he?" They say this only for disputing. Surely they are a contentious people.
43:59
اِنْ هُوَ اِلَّا عَبْدٌ اَنْعَمْنَا عَلَیْهِ وَ جَعَلْنٰهُ مَثَلًا لِّبَنِیْۤ اِسْرَآءِیْلَؕ(۵۹)
(Jesus) was only a creature whom We favoured and made an example for the children of Israel.
43:60
وَ لَوْ نَشَآءُ لَجَعَلْنَا مِنْكُمْ مَّلٰٓىٕكَةً فِی الْاَرْضِ یَخْلُفُوْنَ(۶۰)
If We pleased We could have put angels in place of you as trustees on the earth.
43:61
وَ اِنَّهٗ لَعِلْمٌ لِّلسَّاعَةِ فَلَا تَمْتَرُنَّ بِهَا وَ اتَّبِعُوْنِؕ-هٰذَا صِرَاطٌ مُّسْتَقِیْمٌ(۶۱)
He is certainly the sign of the Hour (of change). So have no doubt about it, and listen to me. This is the straight path.
43:62
وَ لَا یَصُدَّنَّكُمُ الشَّیْطٰنُۚ-اِنَّهٗ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِیْنٌ(۶۲)
Let not Satan misdirect you. He is your open enemy.
43:63
وَ لَمَّا جَآءَ عِیْسٰى بِالْبَیِّنٰتِ قَالَ قَدْ جِئْتُكُمْ بِالْحِكْمَةِ وَ لِاُبَیِّنَ لَكُمْ بَعْضَ الَّذِیْ تَخْتَلِفُوْنَ فِیْهِۚ-فَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ وَ اَطِیْعُوْنِ(۶۳)
When Jesus came with the signs, he said: "I have come to you with authority, and to explain some thing about which you are at variance. So fear God, and follow me.
43:64
اِنَّ اللّٰهَ هُوَ رَبِّیْ وَ رَبُّكُمْ فَاعْبُدُوْهُؕ-هٰذَا صِرَاطٌ مُّسْتَقِیْمٌ(۶۴)
Verily God is my Lord and your Lord; so worship Him. This is the straight path."
43:65
فَاخْتَلَفَ الْاَحْزَابُ مِنْۢ بَیْنِهِمْۚ-فَوَیْلٌ لِّلَّذِیْنَ ظَلَمُوْا مِنْ عَذَابِ یَوْمٍ اَلِیْمٍ(۶۵)
But the factions differed among themselves. Woe alas to the sinners for the torment of the grievous Day!
43:66
هَلْ یَنْظُرُوْنَ اِلَّا السَّاعَةَ اَنْ تَاْتِیَهُمْ بَغْتَةً وَّ هُمْ لَا یَشْعُرُوْنَ(۶۶)
Are they waiting (for any thing) but the Hour (of Doom) which would descend upon them suddenly, and catch them unawares?
43:67
اَلْاَخِلَّآءُ یَوْمَىٕذٍۭ بَعْضُهُمْ لِبَعْضٍ عَدُوٌّ اِلَّا الْمُتَّقِیْنَؕ۠(۶۷)
Friends will turn into enemies on that day, except those who fear and follow the straight path.
43:68
یٰعِبَادِ لَا خَوْفٌ عَلَیْكُمُ الْیَوْمَ وَ لَاۤ اَنْتُمْ تَحْزَنُوْنَۚ(۶۸)
O My creatures, there will be no fear or regret
43:69
اَلَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا بِاٰیٰتِنَا وَ كَانُوْا مُسْلِمِیْنَۚ(۶۹)
For (those of) you on that day who believed in My revelations and submitted.
43:70
اُدْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ اَنْتُمْ وَ اَزْوَاجُكُمْ تُحْبَرُوْنَ(۷۰)
(You will) enter the garden, you and your spouses, and be glad."
43:71
یُطَافُ عَلَیْهِمْ بِصِحَافٍ مِّنْ ذَهَبٍ وَّ اَكْوَابٍۚ-وَ فِیْهَا مَا تَشْتَهِیْهِ الْاَنْفُسُ وَ تَلَذُّ الْاَعْیُنُۚ-وَ اَنْتُمْ فِیْهَا خٰلِدُوْنَۚ(۷۱)
Golden platters and goblets will be passed around, and everything the heart desires and pleases the eye will be there, where you will abide for ever.
43:72
وَ تِلْكَ الْجَنَّةُ الَّتِیْۤ اُوْرِثْتُمُوْهَا بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُوْنَ(۷۲)
This is the Paradise you will inherit (as meed) for your deeds.
43:73
لَكُمْ فِیْهَا فَاكِهَةٌ كَثِیْرَةٌ مِّنْهَا تَاْكُلُوْنَ(۷۳)
You will have fruits in abundance there to eat.
43:74
اِنَّ الْمُجْرِمِیْنَ فِیْ عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ خٰلِدُوْنَۚۖ(۷۴)
The sinners will certainly dwell for ever in the torment of Hell.
43:75
لَا یُفَتَّرُ عَنْهُمْ وَ هُمْ فِیْهِ مُبْلِسُوْنَۚ(۷۵)
It will not decrease for them; dumb with despair they will stay in it.
43:76
وَ مَا ظَلَمْنٰهُمْ وَ لٰكِنْ كَانُوْا هُمُ الظّٰلِمِیْنَ(۷۶)
We did not wrong them, they wronged themselves.
43:77
وَ نَادَوْا یٰمٰلِكُ لِیَقْضِ عَلَیْنَا رَبُّكَؕ-قَالَ اِنَّكُمْ مّٰكِثُوْنَ(۷۷)
They will call (to the keeper of Hell-gate): "O Malik, let your Lord decide our fate." He will answer: "You are to stay."
43:78
لَقَدْ جِئْنٰكُمْ بِالْحَقِّ وَ لٰكِنَّ اَكْثَرَكُمْ لِلْحَقِّ كٰرِهُوْنَ(۷۸)
We have brought to you the truth, but most of you despise the truth.
43:79
اَمْ اَبْرَمُوْۤا اَمْرًا فَاِنَّا مُبْرِمُوْنَۚ(۷۹)
Have they settled upon a plan? We shall also settle on one.
43:80
اَمْ یَحْسَبُوْنَ اَنَّا لَا نَسْمَعُ سِرَّهُمْ وَ نَجْوٰىهُمْؕ-بَلٰى وَ رُسُلُنَا لَدَیْهِمْ یَكْتُبُوْنَ(۸۰)
Or do they think We do not hear their secrecies and stealthy consultations? In fact, Our messengers who attend them record everything.
