اَلتِّیْن

8 Ayaat مکیۃ

95:0

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful.

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

95:1

وَ التِّیْنِ وَ الزَّیْتُوْنِۙ(۱)

I CALL TO witness the Fig and the Olive,

By the Fig and the Olive,

95:2

وَ طُوْرِ سِیْنِیْنَۙ(۲)

The Mount Sinai,

And the Mount of Sinai,

95:3

وَ هٰذَا الْبَلَدِ الْاَمِیْنِۙ(۳)

And this Soil Secure,

And this City of security,-

95:4

لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْاِنْسَانَ فِیْۤ اَحْسَنِ تَقْوِیْمٍ٘(۴)

That We created man of finest possibilities,

We have indeed created man in the best of moulds,

95:5

ثُمَّ رَدَدْنٰهُ اَسْفَلَ سٰفِلِیْنَۙ(۵)

Then brought him down to the lowest of the low,

Then do We abase him (to be) the lowest of the low,-

95:6

اِلَّا الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَ عَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ فَلَهُمْ اَجْرٌ غَیْرُ مَمْنُوْنٍؕ(۶)

Except those who believe and do the right, for whom there is reward undiminished.

Except such as believe and do righteous deeds: For they shall have a reward unfailing.

95:7

فَمَا یُكَذِّبُكَ بَعْدُ بِالدِّیْنِؕ(۷)

Who should then make you deny the Judgement after this?

Then what can, after this, contradict thee, as to the judgment (to come)?

95:8

اَلَیْسَ اللّٰهُ بِاَحْكَمِ الْحٰكِمِیْنَ۠(۸)

Is not God the most equitable of all judges?

Is not Allah the wisest of judges?
