Surah at-Tariq

اَلطَّارِق
17 Ayaat    مکیۃ


86:0
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful.
86:1
وَ السَّمَآءِ وَ الطَّارِقِۙ(۱)
I CALL TO witness the heavens and the night Star --
86:2
وَ مَاۤ اَدْرٰىكَ مَا الطَّارِقُۙ(۲)
How will you comprehend what the night star is?
86:3
النَّجْمُ الثَّاقِبُۙ(۳)
It is the star that shines with a piercing brightness --
86:4
اِنْ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ لَّمَّا عَلَیْهَا حَافِظٌؕ(۴)
That over each soul there is a guardian.
86:5
فَلْیَنْظُرِ الْاِنْسَانُ مِمَّ خُلِقَؕ(۵)
Let man consider what he was made of:
86:6
خُلِقَ مِنْ مَّآءٍ دَافِقٍۙ(۶)
He was created of spurting water
86:7
یَّخْرُ جُ مِنْۢ بَیْنِ الصُّلْبِ وَ التَّرَآىٕبِؕ(۷)
Issuing from (the pelvis) between the backbone and the ribs.
86:8
اِنَّهٗ عَلٰى رَجْعِهٖ لَقَادِرٌؕ(۸)
God has certainly power to bring him back (from the dead).
86:9
یَوْمَ تُبْلَى السَّرَآىٕرُۙ(۹)
The day all secrets are examined
86:10
فَمَا لَهٗ مِنْ قُوَّةٍ وَّ لَا نَاصِرٍؕ(۱۰)
He will have no strength or helper.
86:11
وَ السَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ الرَّجْعِۙ(۱۱)
So I call to witness the rain-producing sky,
86:12
وَ الْاَرْضِ ذَاتِ الصَّدْعِۙ(۱۲)
And the earth which opens up (with verdure),
86:13
اِنَّهٗ لَقَوْلٌ فَصْلٌۙ(۱۳)
That this (Qur´an) is a decisive word
86:14
وَّ مَا هُوَ بِالْهَزْلِؕ(۱۴)
And no trifle.
86:15
اِنَّهُمْ یَكِیْدُوْنَ كَیْدًاۙ(۱۵)
They are hatching up a plot,
86:16
وَّ اَكِیْدُ كَیْدًاۚۖ(۱۶)
But I too am devising a plan.
86:17
فَمَهِّلِ الْكٰفِرِیْنَ اَمْهِلْهُمْ رُوَیْدًا۠(۱۷)
So bear with unbelievers with patience, and give them respite for a while.
