اَلشُّـعَرَاء

227 Ayaat مکیۃ

26:161

اِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ اَخُوْهُمْ لُوْطٌ اَلَا تَتَّقُوْنَۚ(۱۶۱)

When their brother Lot said to them: "Will you not take heed?

26:162

اِنِّیْ لَكُمْ رَسُوْلٌ اَمِیْنٌۙ(۱۶۲)

I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you.

26:163

فَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ وَ اَطِیْعُوْنِۚ(۱۶۳)

So fear God and listen to me.

26:164

وَ مَاۤ اَسْــٴَـلُكُمْ عَلَیْهِ مِنْ اَجْرٍۚ-اِنْ اَجْرِیَ اِلَّا عَلٰى رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِیْنَؕ(۱۶۴)

I ask no recompense of you for this. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds.

26:165

اَتَاْتُوْنَ الذُّكْرَانَ مِنَ الْعٰلَمِیْنَۙ (۱۶۵)

Why do you go for males unlike all other creatures

26:166

وَ تَذَرُوْنَ مَا خَلَقَ لَكُمْ رَبُّكُمْ مِّنْ اَزْوَاجِكُمْؕ-بَلْ اَنْتُمْ قَوْمٌ عٰدُوْنَ(۱۶۶)

Leaving the consorts your Lord has made for you? But you are a people who exceed the bounds."

26:167

قَالُوْا لَىٕنْ لَّمْ تَنْتَهِ یٰلُوْطُ لَتَكُوْنَنَّ مِنَ الْمُخْرَجِیْنَ(۱۶۷)

They said: "If you do not desist, O Lot, you will be expelled (from the city)."

26:168

قَالَ اِنِّیْ لِعَمَلِكُمْ مِّنَ الْقَالِیْنَؕ(۱۶۸)

(Lot) said: "I am disgusted with your actions,"

26:169

رَبِّ نَجِّنِیْ وَ اَهْلِیْ مِمَّا یَعْمَلُوْنَ(۱۶۹)

(And prayed:) "O Lord, save me and my family from what they do."

26:170

فَنَجَّیْنٰهُ وَ اَهْلَهٗۤ اَجْمَعِیْنَۙ(۱۷۰)

So We saved him and his whole family

26:171

اِلَّا عَجُوْزًا فِی الْغٰبِرِیْنَۚ(۱۷۱)

Except one old woman who remained behind.

26:172

ثُمَّ دَمَّرْنَا الْاٰخَرِیْنَۚ(۱۷۲)

Then We destroyed the rest of them,

26:173

وَ اَمْطَرْنَا عَلَیْهِمْ مَّطَرًاۚ-فَسَآءَ مَطَرُ الْمُنْذَرِیْنَ(۱۷۳)

And rained on them a shower (of Stones). How terrible was the rain (that fell) on those who had been warned!

26:174

اِنَّ فِیْ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰیَةًؕ-وَ مَا كَانَ اَكْثَرُهُمْ مُّؤْمِنِیْنَ(۱۷۴)

Verily in this was a sign, but most of them do not believe.

26:175

وَ اِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِیْزُ الرَّحِیْمُ۠(۱۷۵)

Yet surely your Lord is mighty and powerful.

26:176

كَذَّبَ اَصْحٰبُ لْــٴَـیْكَةِ الْمُرْسَلِیْنَۚۖ(۱۷۶)

The people of the Wood too called the messengers liars.

26:177

اِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ شُعَیْبٌ اَلَا تَتَّقُوْنَۚ(۱۷۷)

When Shu´aib said to them: "Will you not take heed?

26:178

اِنِّیْ لَكُمْ رَسُوْلٌ اَمِیْنٌۙ(۱۷۸)

I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you.

26:179

فَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ وَ اَطِیْعُوْنِۚ(۱۷۹)

So fear God and follow me.

26:180

وَ مَاۤ اَسْــٴَـلُكُمْ عَلَیْهِ مِنْ اَجْرٍۚ-اِنْ اَجْرِیَ اِلَّا عَلٰى رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِیْنَؕ(۱۸۰)

I ask no recompense of you for this. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds.

26:181

اَوْفُوا الْكَیْلَ وَ لَا تَكُوْنُوْا مِنَ الْمُخْسِرِیْنَۚ(۱۸۱)

Give full measure and do not cheat;

26:182

وَزِنُوْا بِالْقِسْطَاسِ الْمُسْتَقِیْمِۚ(۱۸۲)

Weigh on an even balance.

26:183

وَ لَا تَبْخَسُوا النَّاسَ اَشْیَآءَهُمْ وَ لَا تَعْثَوْا فِی الْاَرْضِ مُفْسِدِیْنَۚ(۱۸۳)

And do not withhold from people what belongs to them, and do not corrupt the land;

26:184

وَ اتَّقُوا الَّذِیْ خَلَقَكُمْ وَ الْجِبِلَّةَ الْاَوَّلِیْنَؕ(۱۸۴)

And fear Him who created you and all the earlier people."

26:185

قَالُوْۤا اِنَّمَاۤ اَنْتَ مِنَ الْمُسَحَّرِیْنَۙ(۱۸۵)

They said: "Surely you are deluded.

26:186

وَ مَاۤ اَنْتَ اِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُنَا وَ اِنْ نَّظُنُّكَ لَمِنَ الْكٰذِبِیْنَۚ(۱۸۶)

You are nothing but a man like us, and we think you are a liar.

26:187

فَاَسْقِطْ عَلَیْنَا كِسَفًا مِّنَ السَّمَآءِ اِنْ كُنْتَ مِنَ الصّٰدِقِیْنَؕ(۱۸۷)

But in case you are speaking the truth, then make a segment of the sky to fall upon us."

26:188

قَالَ رَبِّیْۤ اَعْلَمُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ(۱۸۸)

(Shu´aib) said: "My Lord knows well what you are doing."

26:189

فَكَذَّبُوْهُ فَاَخَذَهُمْ عَذَابُ یَوْمِ الظُّلَّةِؕ-اِنَّهٗ كَانَ عَذَابَ یَوْمٍ عَظِیْمٍ(۱۸۹)

But they denied him, and We seized them with the torment of the Day of Shadowing (when the cloud had rained down fire). It was indeed the torment of a terrible day!

26:190

اِنَّ فِیْ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰیَةًؕ-وَ مَا كَانَ اَكْثَرُهُمْ مُّؤْمِنِیْنَ(۱۹۰)

Verily in this was a sign, but most of them do not believe.

26:191

وَ اِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِیْزُ الرَّحِیْمُ۠(۱۹۱)

Yet verily your Lord is mighty and merciful.

26:192

وَ اِنَّهٗ لَتَنْزِیْلُ رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِیْنَؕ(۱۹۲)

And this (Qur´an) is a revelation from the Lord of all the worlds,

26:193

نَزَلَ بِهِ الرُّوْحُ الْاَمِیْنُۙ(۱۹۳)

Which the trusted spirit descended with

26:194

عَلٰى قَلْبِكَ لِتَكُوْنَ مِنَ الْمُنْذِرِیْنَۙ (۱۹۴)

To (communicate) to your heart that you may be a warner

26:195

بِلِسَانٍ عَرَبِیٍّ مُّبِیْنٍؕ(۱۹۵)

In eloquent Arabic.

26:196

وَ اِنَّهٗ لَفِیْ زُبُرِ الْاَوَّلِیْنَ(۱۹۶)

This is (indicated) in the Books of earlier people.

26:197

اَوَ لَمْ یَكُنْ لَّهُمْ اٰیَةً اَنْ یَّعْلَمَهٗ عُلَمٰٓؤُا بَنِیْۤ اِسْرَآءِیْلَؕ(۱۹۷)

Was it not a proof for them that the learned men of Israel knew about this?

26:198

وَ لَوْ نَزَّلْنٰهُ عَلٰى بَعْضِ الْاَعْجَمِیْنَۙ(۱۹۸)

Had We revealed it to a man of obscure tongue

26:199

فَقَرَاَهٗ عَلَیْهِمْ مَّا كَانُوْا بِهٖ مُؤْمِنِیْنَؕ(۱۹۹)

And he had recited it to them, and they had not believed (it would have been different).

26:200

كَذٰلِكَ سَلَكْنٰهُ فِیْ قُلُوْبِ الْمُجْرِمِیْنَؕ(۲۰۰)

Thus do We cause (unbelief) to enter the hearts of sinners.
