اَلشُّـعَرَاء

227 Ayaat مکیۃ

26:121

اِنَّ فِیْ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰیَةًؕ-وَ مَا كَانَ اَكْثَرُهُمْ مُّؤْمِنِیْنَ(۱۲۱)

Verily there is a sign in this, yet many of them do not believe.

26:122

وَ اِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِیْزُ الرَّحِیْمُ۠(۱۲۲)

But surely your Lord is mighty and merciful.

26:123

كَذَّبَتْ عَادُ اﰳلْمُرْسَلِیْنَۚۖ(۱۲۳)

The people of ´Ad accused the messengers of lies.

26:124

اِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ اَخُوْهُمْ هُوْدٌ اَلَا تَتَّقُوْنَۚ(۱۲۴)

When their brother Hud said to them: "Will you not take heed?

26:125

اِنِّیْ لَكُمْ رَسُوْلٌ اَمِیْنٌۙ(۱۲۵)

I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you.

26:126

فَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ وَ اَطِیْعُوْنِۚ(۱۲۶)

So fear God and listen to me.

26:127

وَ مَاۤ اَسْــٴَـلُكُمْ عَلَیْهِ مِنْ اَجْرٍۚ-اِنْ اَجْرِیَ اِلَّا عَلٰى رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِیْنَؕ(۱۲۷)

I ask no recompense of you for it. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds.

26:128

اَتَبْنُوْنَ بِكُلِّ رِیْعٍ اٰیَةً تَعْبَثُوْنَۙ (۱۲۸)

You construct monuments on every hill in vain,

26:129

وَ تَتَّخِذُوْنَ مَصَانِعَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَخْلُدُوْنَۚ(۱۲۹)

Erect palaces (thinking) that you will live for ever,

26:130

وَ اِذَا بَطَشْتُمْ بَطَشْتُمْ جَبَّارِیْنَۚ(۱۳۰)

And whenever you apply force become tyrannical.

26:131

فَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ وَ اَطِیْعُوْنِۚ(۱۳۱)

So be fearful of God and follow me.

26:132

وَ اتَّقُوا الَّذِیْۤ اَمَدَّكُمْ بِمَا تَعْلَمُوْنَۚ(۱۳۲)

Fear Him who has bestowed on you what you know,

26:133

اَمَدَّكُمْ بِاَنْعَامٍ وَّ بَنِیْنَۚۙ(۱۳۳)

Gave you increase of cattle and sons,

26:134

وَ جَنّٰتٍ وَّ عُیُوْنٍۚ(۱۳۴)

And orchards and springs.

26:135

اِنِّیْۤ اَخَافُ عَلَیْكُمْ عَذَابَ یَوْمٍ عَظِیْمٍؕ(۱۳۵)

I fear the punishment of a terrible day for you.

26:136

قَالُوْا سَوَآءٌ عَلَیْنَاۤ اَوَ عَظْتَ اَمْ لَمْ تَكُنْ مِّنَ الْوٰعِظِیْنَۙ(۱۳۶)

They said: "It is the same to us if you warn us or do not warn.

26:137

اِنْ هٰذَاۤ اِلَّا خُلُقُ الْاَوَّلِیْنَۙ(۱۳۷)

This is just a habit of antiquated people.

26:138

وَ مَا نَحْنُ بِمُعَذَّبِیْنَۚ(۱۳۸)

We are not going to be damned."

26:139

فَكَذَّبُوْهُ فَاَهْلَكْنٰهُمْؕ-اِنَّ فِیْ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰیَةًؕ-وَ مَا كَانَ اَكْثَرُهُمْ مُّؤْمِنِیْنَ(۱۳۹)

Then they accused him of lies; so We annihilated them. Verily there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe.

26:140

وَ اِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِیْزُ الرَّحِیْمُ۠(۱۴۰)

Yet surely your Lord is mighty and merciful.

26:141

كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُوْدُ الْمُرْسَلِیْنَۚۖ(۱۴۱)

The Thamud accused the messengers of lies.

26:142

اِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ اَخُوْهُمْ صٰلِحٌ اَلَا تَتَّقُوْنَۚ(۱۴۲)

When their brother Saleh said to them: "Will you not take heed?"

26:143

اِنِّیْ لَكُمْ رَسُوْلٌ اَمِیْنٌۙ(۱۴۳)

I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you.

26:144

فَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ وَ اَطِیْعُوْنِۚ(۱۴۴)

So fear God and follow me.

26:145

وَ مَاۤ اَسْــٴَـلُكُمْ عَلَیْهِ مِنْ اَجْرٍۚ-اِنْ اَجْرِیَ اِلَّا عَلٰى رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِیْنَؕ(۱۴۵)

I do not ask any recompense of you for this. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds.

26:146

اَتُتْرَكُوْنَ فِیْ مَا هٰهُنَاۤ اٰمِنِیْنَۙ(۱۴۶)

(Do you think) you will be left secure here

26:147

فِیْ جَنّٰتٍ وَّ عُیُوْنٍۙ(۱۴۷)

In these gardens and these springs,

26:148

وَّ زُرُوْعٍ وَّ نَخْلٍ طَلْعُهَا هَضِیْمٌۚ(۱۴۸)

The fields of corn and date-palm trees with soft and tender spathes,

26:149

وَ تَنْحِتُوْنَ مِنَ الْجِبَالِ بُیُوْتًا فٰرِهِیْنَۚ(۱۴۹)

And dwellings hewed out of mountains ingeniously?

26:150

فَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ وَ اَطِیْعُوْنِۚ(۱۵۰)

So be mindful of God and listen to me.

26:151

وَ لَا تُطِیْعُوْۤا اَمْرَ الْمُسْرِفِیْنَۙ(۱۵۱)

Do not follow those who are extravagant,

26:152

الَّذِیْنَ یُفْسِدُوْنَ فِی الْاَرْضِ وَ لَا یُصْلِحُوْنَ(۱۵۲)

Who corrupt the land and do not reform it."

26:153

قَالُوْۤا اِنَّمَاۤ اَنْتَ مِنَ الْمُسَحَّرِیْنَۚ(۱۵۳)

They said: "Surely you are deluded.

26:154

مَاۤ اَنْتَ اِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُنَا ۚۖ-فَاْتِ بِاٰیَةٍ اِنْ كُنْتَ مِنَ الصّٰدِقِیْنَ(۱۵۴)

You are nothing but a man like us. Bring us a token if you speak the truth."

26:155

قَالَ هٰذِهٖ نَاقَةٌ لَّهَا شِرْبٌ وَّ لَكُمْ شِرْبُ یَوْمٍ مَّعْلُوْمٍۚ(۱۵۵)

(Saleh) said: "Here is a she-camel. She has a right of drinking water, and you have a right of drinking it on appointed turns.

26:156

وَ لَا تَمَسُّوْهَا بِسُوْٓءٍ فَیَاْخُذَكُمْ عَذَابُ یَوْمٍ عَظِیْمٍ(۱۵۶)

Do not treat her unkindly or the punishment of a grievous day will fall on you."

26:157

فَعَقَرُوْهَا فَاَصْبَحُوْا نٰدِمِیْنَۙ(۱۵۷)

But they hamstrung her; and on the morrow were repentant,

26:158

فَاَخَذَهُمُ الْعَذَابُؕ-اِنَّ فِیْ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰیَةًؕ-وَ مَا كَانَ اَكْثَرُهُمْ مُّؤْمِنِیْنَ(۱۵۸)

For they were seized by the torment. Verily there was a sign in this, but most of them did not believe.

26:159

وَ اِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِیْزُ الرَّحِیْمُ۠(۱۵۹)

Yet verily your Lord is mighty and merciful.

26:160

كَذَّبَتْ قَوْمُ لُوْطِ-ﹰالْمُرْسَلِیْنَۚۖ(۱۶۰)

The people of Lot accused the messengers of lies.
