Surah Ash-Shu'araa

اَلشُّـعَرَاء

227 Ayaat مکیۃ

26:81

وَ الَّذِیْ یُمِیْتُنِیْ ثُمَّ یُحْیِیْنِۙ(۸۱)

Who will make me die, then give me life again,

26:82

وَ الَّذِیْۤ اَطْمَعُ اَنْ یَّغْفِرَ لِیْ خَطِیْٓــٴَـتِیْ یَوْمَ الدِّیْنِؕ(۸۲)

And who, I hope, will condone my faults on the Day of Judgement.

26:83

رَبِّ هَبْ لِیْ حُكْمًا وَّ اَلْحِقْنِیْ بِالصّٰلِحِیْنَۙ(۸۳)

O Lord, give me wisdom and admit me among the righteous,

26:84

وَ اجْعَلْ لِّیْ لِسَانَ صِدْقٍ فِی الْاٰخِرِیْنَۙ(۸۴)

And uphold my name with posterity,

26:85

وَ اجْعَلْنِیْ مِنْ وَّرَثَةِ جَنَّةِ النَّعِیْمِۙ(۸۵)

And put me among the inheritors of Paradise.

26:86

وَ اغْفِرْ لِاَبِیْۤ اِنَّهٗ كَانَ مِنَ الضَّآلِّیْنَۙ(۸۶)

Forgive me and my father: He was surely among those who went astray.

26:87

وَ لَا تُخْزِنِیْ یَوْمَ یُبْعَثُوْنَۙ(۸۷)

And do not disgrace me on the day when they are raised from the graves,

26:88

یَوْمَ لَا یَنْفَعُ مَالٌ وَّ لَا بَنُوْنَۙ(۸۸)

The day when neither wealth nor children will be of any avail

26:89

اِلَّا مَنْ اَتَى اللّٰهَ بِقَلْبٍ سَلِیْمٍؕ(۸۹)

But to him who comes to God with a tranquil heart."

26:90

وَ اُزْلِفَتِ الْجَنَّةُ لِلْمُتَّقِیْنَۙ(۹۰)

Paradise will be brought near those who take heed for themselves and follow the straight path;

26:91

وَ بُرِّزَتِ الْجَحِیْمُ لِلْغٰوِیْنَۙ(۹۱)

And Hell made visible to those who had gone astray.

26:92

وَ قِیْلَ لَهُمْ اَیْنَمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْبُدُوْنَۙ(۹۲)

They will be asked: "Where are those you worshipped

26:93

مِنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِؕ-هَلْ یَنْصُرُوْنَكُمْ اَوْ یَنْتَصِرُوْنَؕ(۹۳)

Other than God? Can they save you or even save themselves?"

26:94

فَكُبْكِبُوْا فِیْهَا هُمْ وَ الْغَاوٗنَۙ(۹۴)

They will then be thrown into Hell with those who had gone astray

26:95

وَ جُنُوْدُ اِبْلِیْسَ اَجْمَعُوْنَؕ(۹۵)

Together with the hordes of Iblis.

26:96

قَالُوْا وَ هُمْ فِیْهَا یَخْتَصِمُوْنَۙ(۹۶)

Disputing among themselves they will say:

26:97

تَاللّٰهِ اِنْ كُنَّا لَفِیْ ضَلٰلٍ مُّبِیْنٍۙ(۹۷)

"By God, we were plainly in error

26:98

اِذْ نُسَوِّیْكُمْ بِرَبِّ الْعٰلَمِیْنَ(۹۸)

In equating you with the Lord of all the worlds;

26:99

وَ مَاۤ اَضَلَّنَاۤ اِلَّا الْمُجْرِمُوْنَ(۹۹)

No one but the sinners led us astray.

26:100

فَمَا لَنَا مِنْ شَافِعِیْنَۙ(۱۰۰)

Now we have none to intercede for us,

26:101

وَ لَا صَدِیْقٍ حَمِیْمٍ(۱۰۱)

Nor any sincere friend.

26:102

فَلَوْ اَنَّ لَنَا كَرَّةً فَنَكُوْنَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ(۱۰۲)

If only we could return and be among the believers!"

26:103

اِنَّ فِیْ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰیَةًؕ-وَ مَا كَانَ اَكْثَرُهُمْ مُّؤْمِنِیْنَ(۱۰۳)

Verily there is a sign in this, but many of them do not believe.

26:104

وَ اِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِیْزُ الرَّحِیْمُ۠(۱۰۴)

Verily your Lord is mighty and merciful.

26:105

كَذَّبَتْ قَوْمُ نُوْحِ ﹰالْمُرْسَلِیْنَۚۖ(۱۰۵)

The people of Noah accused the apostles of lies.

26:106

اِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ اَخُوْهُمْ نُوْحٌ اَلَا تَتَّقُوْنَۚ(۱۰۶)

When their brother Noah said to them: "Will you not take heed?

26:107

اِنِّیْ لَكُمْ رَسُوْلٌ اَمِیْنٌۙ(۱۰۷)

I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you.

26:108

فَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ وَ اَطِیْعُوْنِۚ(۱۰۸)

So be fearful of God and listen to me.

26:109

وَ مَاۤ اَسْــٴَـلُكُمْ عَلَیْهِ مِنْ اَجْرٍۚ-اِنْ اَجْرِیَ اِلَّا عَلٰى رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِیْنَۚ(۱۰۹)

I ask no recompense of you for it. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds.

26:110

فَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ وَ اَطِیْعُوْنِؕ(۱۱۰)

So fear God and follow me."

26:111

قَالُوْۤا اَنُؤْمِنُ لَكَ وَ اتَّبَعَكَ الْاَرْذَلُوْنَؕ(۱۱۱)

They said: "Should we place our trust in you when only the condemned follow you?"

26:112

قَالَ وَ مَا عِلْمِیْ بِمَا كَانُوْا یَعْمَلُوْنَۚ(۱۱۲)

He said: "It is not for me to know what they were doing.

26:113

اِنْ حِسَابُهُمْ اِلَّا عَلٰى رَبِّیْ لَوْ تَشْعُرُوْنَۚ(۱۱۳)

It is for my Lord to bring them to book, if you can understand.

26:114

وَ مَاۤ اَنَا بِطَارِدِ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَۚ(۱۱۴)

I am certainly not one to drive away the believers.

26:115

اِنْ اَنَا اِلَّا نَذِیْرٌ مُّبِیْنٌؕ(۱۱۵)

I am only a plain admonisher."

26:116

قَالُوْا لَىٕنْ لَّمْ تَنْتَهِ یٰنُوْحُ لَتَكُوْنَنَّ مِنَ الْمَرْجُوْمِیْنَؕ(۱۱۶)

They said: "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will be stoned to death."

26:117

قَالَ رَبِّ اِنَّ قَوْمِیْ كَذَّبُوْنِۚۖ(۱۱۷)

He prayed: "O Lord, verily my people accuse me of lies.

26:118

فَافْتَحْ بَیْنِیْ وَ بَیْنَهُمْ فَتْحًا وَّ نَجِّنِیْ وَ مَنْ مَّعِیَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ(۱۱۸)

So adjudge between me and them conclusively, and save me and the believers who are with me."

26:119

فَاَنْجَیْنٰهُ وَ مَنْ مَّعَهٗ فِی الْفُلْكِ الْمَشْحُوْنِۚ(۱۱۹)

So We delivered him and those with him in the loaded ark,

26:120

ثُمَّ اَغْرَقْنَا بَعْدُ الْبٰقِیْنَؕ(۱۲۰)

And drowned the rest of them.
