اَلشُّـعَرَاء

227 Ayaat مکیۃ

26:41

فَلَمَّا جَآءَ السَّحَرَةُ قَالُوْا لِفِرْعَوْنَ اَىٕنَّ لَنَا لَاَجْرًا اِنْ كُنَّا نَحْنُ الْغٰلِبِیْنَ(۴۱)

When the magicians arrived, they said to the Pharaoh: "Is there a reward for us if we are victorious?" --

26:42

قَالَ نَعَمْ وَ اِنَّكُمْ اِذًا لَّمِنَ الْمُقَرَّبِیْنَ(۴۲)

"Yes," he replied. "You ´will be among the honoured."

26:43

قَالَ لَهُمْ مُّوْسٰۤى اَلْقُوْا مَاۤ اَنْتُمْ مُّلْقُوْنَ(۴۳)

Moses said to them: "Cast what you have to cast."

26:44

فَاَلْقَوْا حِبَالَهُمْ وَ عِصِیَّهُمْ وَ قَالُوْا بِعِزَّةِ فِرْعَوْنَ اِنَّا لَنَحْنُ الْغٰلِبُوْنَ(۴۴)

So they cast their ropes and rods, and said: "By the glory of Pharaoh, we shall be victorious."

26:45

فَاَلْقٰى مُوْسٰى عَصَاهُ فَاِذَا هِیَ تَلْقَفُ مَا یَاْفِكُوْنَۚۖ(۴۵)

Then Moses threw down his staff, and lo, it swallowed up their conjurations.

26:46

فَاُلْقِیَ السَّحَرَةُ سٰجِدِیْنَۙ(۴۶)

Then the magicians fell prostrating in adoration,

26:47

قَالُوْۤا اٰمَنَّا بِرَبِّ الْعٰلَمِیْنَۙ(۴۷)

And said: "We (affirm and) believe in the Lord of all the worlds,

26:48

رَبِّ مُوْسٰى وَ هٰرُوْنَ(۴۸)

The Lord of Moses and Aaron."

26:49

قَالَ اٰمَنْتُمْ لَهٗ قَبْلَ اَنْ اٰذَنَ لَكُمْۚ-اِنَّهٗ لَكَبِیْرُكُمُ الَّذِیْ عَلَّمَكُمُ السِّحْرَۚ-فَلَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُوْنَ۬ؕ-لَاُقَطِّعَنَّ اَیْدِیَكُمْ وَ اَرْجُلَكُمْ مِّنْ خِلَافٍ وَّ لَاُوصَلِّبَنَّكُمْ اَجْمَعِیْنَۚ(۴۹)

Said (the Pharaoh): "You have come to believe in him before I gave you leave. He is surely your chief, who taught you magic. You will soon come to know: I will have your hands and feet cut off on alternate sides, and have every one of you crucified."

26:50

قَالُوْا لَا ضَیْرَ٘-اِنَّاۤ اِلٰى رَبِّنَا مُنْقَلِبُوْنَۚ(۵۰)

They said: "There will be no harm. We shall return to our Lord.

26:51

اِنَّا نَطْمَعُ اَنْ یَّغْفِرَ لَنَا رَبُّنَا خَطٰیٰنَاۤ اَنْ كُنَّاۤ اَوَّلَ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَؕ۠(۵۱)

We certainly hope our Lord will forgive our sins as we are the first to believe."

26:52

وَ اَوْحَیْنَاۤ اِلٰى مُوْسٰۤى اَنْ اَسْرِ بِعِبَادِیْۤ اِنَّكُمْ مُّتَّبَعُوْنَ(۵۲)

We said to Moses: "Travel by night with My creatures. You will surely be pursued."

26:53

فَاَرْسَلَ فِرْعَوْنُ فِی الْمَدَآىٕنِ حٰشِرِیْنَۚ(۵۳)

Then the Pharaoh sent announcers to the cities,

26:54

اِنَّ هٰۤؤُلَآءِ لَشِرْذِمَةٌ قَلِیْلُوْنَۙ(۵۴)

(Proclaiming): "Surely they are a small band (of fugitives).

26:55

وَ اِنَّهُمْ لَنَا لَغَآىٕظُوْنَۙ(۵۵)

They are always harassing us.

26:56

وَ اِنَّا لَجَمِیْعٌ حٰذِرُوْنَؕ(۵۶)

But we are a fully accounted army."

26:57

فَاَخْرَجْنٰهُمْ مِّنْ جَنّٰتٍ وَّ عُیُوْنٍۙ(۵۷)

So We made them leave the gardens and springs of water,

26:58

وَّ كُنُوْزٍ وَّ مَقَامٍ كَرِیْمٍۙ(۵۸)

And treasures and agreeable mansions.

26:59

كَذٰلِكَؕ-وَ اَوْرَثْنٰهَا بَنِیْۤ اِسْرَآءِیْلَؕ(۵۹)

Thus it was; and We made the children of Israel possess them.

26:60

فَاَتْبَعُوْهُمْ مُّشْرِقِیْنَ(۶۰)

But they pursued them at sunrise.

26:61

فَلَمَّا تَرَآءَ الْجَمْعٰنِ قَالَ اَصْحٰبُ مُوْسٰۤى اِنَّا لَمُدْرَكُوْنَۚ(۶۱)

When the two forces drew within seeing distance of each other, the people of Moses said: "We shall certainly be overtaken."

26:62

قَالَ كَلَّاۚ-اِنَّ مَعِیَ رَبِّیْ سَیَهْدِیْنِ(۶۲)

Moses replied: "By no means. My Lord is with me. He will show me the way."

26:63

فَاَوْحَیْنَاۤ اِلٰى مُوْسٰۤى اَنِ اضْرِبْ بِّعَصَاكَ الْبَحْرَؕ-فَانْفَلَقَ فَكَانَ كُلُّ فِرْقٍ كَالطَّوْدِ الْعَظِیْمِۚ(۶۳)

We commanded Moses: "Smite the sea with your staff." And it parted, and every parting was like a lofty mountain.

26:64

وَ اَزْلَفْنَا ثَمَّ الْاٰخَرِیْنَۚ(۶۴)

Then We brought the others to that place.

26:65

وَ اَنْجَیْنَا مُوْسٰى وَ مَنْ مَّعَهٗۤ اَجْمَعِیْنَۚ(۶۵)

We delivered Moses and every one with him,

26:66

ثُمَّ اَغْرَقْنَا الْاٰخَرِیْنَؕ(۶۶)

And We drowned the others.

26:67

اِنَّ فِیْ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰیَةًؕ-وَ مَا كَانَ اَكْثَرُهُمْ مُّؤْمِنِیْنَ(۶۷)

Verily there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe.

26:68

وَ اِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِیْزُ الرَّحِیْمُ۠(۶۸)

Indeed your Lord is mighty and merciful.

26:69

وَ اتْلُ عَلَیْهِمْ نَبَاَ اِبْرٰهِیْمَۘ(۶۹)

Relate the news of Abraham to them.

26:70

اِذْ قَالَ لِاَبِیْهِ وَ قَوْمِهٖ مَا تَعْبُدُوْنَ(۷۰)

When he asked his father and his people: "What do you worship?"

26:71

قَالُوْا نَعْبُدُ اَصْنَامًا فَنَظَلُّ لَهَا عٰكِفِیْنَ(۷۱)

They replied: "We worship idols and are devoted to them."

26:72

قَالَ هَلْ یَسْمَعُوْنَكُمْ اِذْ تَدْعُوْنَۙ(۷۲)

(Abraham) asked: "Do they hear when you call them?

26:73

اَوْ یَنْفَعُوْنَكُمْ اَوْ یَضُرُّوْنَ(۷۳)

Or do they benefit you, or do you harm?"

26:74

قَالُوْا بَلْ وَجَدْنَاۤ اٰبَآءَنَا كَذٰلِكَ یَفْعَلُوْنَ(۷۴)

They said: "No. But we found our fathers doing so."

26:75

قَالَ اَفَرَءَیْتُمْ مَّا كُنْتُمْ تَعْبُدُوْنَۙ(۷۵)

He said: "Have you considered what you have been worshipping,

26:76

اَنْتُمْ وَ اٰبَآؤُكُمُ الْاَقْدَمُوْنَ٘ۖ(۷۶)

You and your fathers?

26:77

فَاِنَّهُمْ عَدُوٌّ لِّیْۤ اِلَّا رَبَّ الْعٰلَمِیْنَۙ(۷۷)

Yet they are my enemies except the Lord of all the worlds

26:78

الَّذِیْ خَلَقَنِیْ فَهُوَ یَهْدِیْنِۙ(۷۸)

Who created me and showed me the way,

26:79

وَ الَّذِیْ هُوَ یُطْعِمُنِیْ وَ یَسْقِیْنِۙ(۷۹)

Who gives me food and drink,

26:80

وَ اِذَا مَرِضْتُ فَهُوَ یَشْفِیْنِﭪ(۸۰)

And heals me when I am sick,
