اَلشُّـعَرَاء

227 Ayaat مکیۃ

26:0

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful.

26:1

طٰسٓمّٓ(۱)

TA SIN MIM.

26:2

تِلْكَ اٰیٰتُ الْكِتٰبِ الْمُبِیْنِ(۲)

These are the verses of the perspicuous Book.

26:3

لَعَلَّكَ بَاخِعٌ نَّفْسَكَ اَلَّا یَكُوْنُوْا مُؤْمِنِیْنَ(۳)

You may perhaps wear out your heart because they do not come to belief.

26:4

اِنْ نَّشَاْ نُنَزِّلْ عَلَیْهِمْ مِّنَ السَّمَآءِ اٰیَةً فَظَلَّتْ اَعْنَاقُهُمْ لَهَا خٰضِعِیْنَ(۴)

We could send down from the heavens a sign to them if We pleased, before which their heads would remain bowed.

26:5

وَ مَا یَاْتِیْهِمْ مِّنْ ذِكْرٍ مِّنَ الرَّحْمٰنِ مُحْدَثٍ اِلَّا كَانُوْا عَنْهُ مُعْرِضِیْنَ(۵)

Never does a new reminder come to them from Ar-Rahman but they turn away from it.

26:6

فَقَدْ كَذَّبُوْا فَسَیَاْتِیْهِمْ اَنْۢبٰٓؤُا مَا كَانُوْا بِهٖ یَسْتَهْزِءُوْنَ(۶)

Surely they have done with denying; soon will come to them the news of what they were laughing at.

26:7

اَوَ لَمْ یَرَوْا اِلَى الْاَرْضِ كَمْ اَنْۢبَتْنَا فِیْهَا مِنْ كُلِّ زَوْجٍ كَرِیْمٍ(۷)

Do they not see the earth, how We grow all kinds of noble things upon it?

26:8

اِنَّ فِیْ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰیَةًؕ-وَ مَا كَانَ اَكْثَرُهُمْ مُّؤْمِنِیْنَ(۸)

Verily there are signs in this; yet many of them do not believe.

26:9

وَ اِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِیْزُ الرَّحِیْمُ۠(۹)

Your Lord is surely mighty and merciful.

26:10

وَ اِذْ نَادٰى رَبُّكَ مُوْسٰۤى اَنِ ائْتِ الْقَوْمَ الظّٰلِمِیْنَۙ(۱۰)

When your Lord called upon Moses: "Go to the wicked people,

26:11

قَوْمَ فِرْعَوْنَؕ-اَلَا یَتَّقُوْنَ(۱۱)

The people of Pharaoh. Will they not fear and take heed?"

26:12

قَالَ رَبِّ اِنِّیْۤ اَخَافُ اَنْ یُّكَذِّبُوْنِؕ(۱۲)

: He said: "O Lord, I fear that they will deny me.

26:13

وَ یَضِیْقُ صَدْرِیْ وَ لَا یَنْطَلِقُ لِسَانِیْ فَاَرْسِلْ اِلٰى هٰرُوْنَ(۱۳)

My heart is constrained, my tongue falters, so delegate Aaron;

26:14

وَ لَهُمْ عَلَیَّ ذَنْۢبٌ فَاَخَافُ اَنْ یَّقْتُلُوْنِۚ(۱۴)

And they have a charge (of murder) against me. So I fear that they will kill me."

26:15

قَالَ كَلَّاۚ-فَاذْهَبَا بِاٰیٰتِنَاۤ اِنَّا مَعَكُمْ مُّسْتَمِعُوْنَ(۱۵)

(It was) said: "By no means. Go with My signs, both of you. I am verily with you and I hear.

26:16

فَاْتِیَا فِرْعَوْنَ فَقُوْلَاۤ اِنَّا رَسُوْلُ رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِیْنَۙ(۱۶)

Go to the Pharaoh and tell him: ´We bring a message from the Lord of all the worlds

26:17

اَنْ اَرْسِلْ مَعَنَا بَنِیْۤ اِسْرَآءِیْلَؕ(۱۷)

That you should send the children of Israel with us.´

26:18

قَالَ اَلَمْ نُرَبِّكَ فِیْنَا وَلِیْدًا وَّ لَبِثْتَ فِیْنَا مِنْ عُمُرِكَ سِنِیْنَۙ(۱۸)

(The Pharaoh) said: "Did we not bring you up as a child? And you lived a number of years of your life with us.

26:19

وَ فَعَلْتَ فَعْلَتَكَ الَّتِیْ فَعَلْتَ وَ اَنْتَ مِنَ الْكٰفِرِیْنَ(۱۹)

And you commited what you did, and you are ungrateful!"

26:20

قَالَ فَعَلْتُهَاۤ اِذًا وَّ اَنَا مِنَ الضَّآلِّیْنَؕ(۲۰)

(Moses) replied: "I did do that and I was in the wrong,

26:21

فَفَرَرْتُ مِنْكُمْ لَمَّا خِفْتُكُمْ فَوَهَبَ لِیْ رَبِّیْ حُكْمًا وَّ جَعَلَنِیْ مِنَ الْمُرْسَلِیْنَ(۲۱)

So I ran away from you out of fear. But my Lord has given me wisdom, and made me an apostle.

26:22

وَ تِلْكَ نِعْمَةٌ تَمُنُّهَا عَلَیَّ اَنْ عَبَّدْتَّ بَنِیْۤ اِسْرَآءِیْلَؕ(۲۲)

But the favour you oblige me with is that you have enslaved the children of Israel."

26:23

قَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ وَ مَا رَبُّ الْعٰلَمِیْنَؕ(۲۳)

The Pharaoh asked: "And what is the Lord of all the worlds?"

26:24

قَالَ رَبُّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الْاَرْضِ وَ مَا بَیْنَهُمَاؕ-اِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُّوْقِنِیْنَ(۲۴)

(Moses) said: "The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, if you can believe."

26:25

قَالَ لِمَنْ حَوْلَهٗۤ اَلَا تَسْتَمِعُوْنَ(۲۵)

(The Pharaoh) said to those around him: "Do you hear?"

26:26

قَالَ رَبُّكُمْ وَ رَبُّ اٰبَآىٕكُمُ الْاَوَّلِیْنَ(۲۶)

(Moses continued): "Your Lord and the Lord of your fathers before you."

26:27

قَالَ اِنَّ رَسُوْلَكُمُ الَّذِیْۤ اُرْسِلَ اِلَیْكُمْ لَمَجْنُوْنٌ(۲۷)

(The Pharaoh) said (to his nobles): "Your apostle who has been sent to you, is certainly mad."

26:28

قَالَ رَبُّ الْمَشْرِقِ وَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَ مَا بَیْنَهُمَاؕ-اِنْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْقِلُوْنَ(۲۸)

(Moses) said: "The Lord of the East and the Lord of the West and all that lies between them, if you have sense."

26:29

قَالَ لَىٕنِ اتَّخَذْتَ اِلٰهًا غَیْرِیْ لَاَجْعَلَنَّكَ مِنَ الْمَسْجُوْنِیْنَ(۲۹)

(The Pharaoh) said: "If you took another god apart from me I will have you incarcerated."

26:30

قَالَ اَوَ لَوْ جِئْتُكَ بِشَیْءٍ مُّبِیْنٍۚ(۳۰)

(Moses) said: "Even though I have brought to you something convincing?"

26:31

قَالَ فَاْتِ بِهٖۤ اِنْ كُنْتَ مِنَ الصّٰدِقِیْنَ(۳۱)

(The Pharaoh) said: "Then bring it, if you speak the truth."

26:32

فَاَلْقٰى عَصَاهُ فَاِذَا هِیَ ثُعْبَانٌ مُّبِیْنٌۚۖ(۳۲)

So (Moses) cast his staff, and lo, it turned into a living serpent.

26:33

وَّ نَزَعَ یَدَهٗ فَاِذَا هِیَ بَیْضَآءُ لِلنّٰظِرِیْنَ۠(۳۳)

And he drew forth his hand, and lo, it looked white to the beholders.

26:34

قَالَ لِلْمَلَاِ حَوْلَهٗۤ اِنَّ هٰذَا لَسٰحِرٌ عَلِیْمٌۙ(۳۴)

The Pharaoh said to the chiefs around him: "He is certainly a clever magician.

26:35

یُّرِیْدُ اَنْ یُّخْرِجَكُمْ مِّنْ اَرْضِكُمْ بِسِحْرِهٖ ﳓ فَمَا ذَا تَاْمُرُوْنَ(۳۵)

He wants to drive you out of your land by his magic. So, what do you bid?"

26:36

قَالُوْۤا اَرْجِهْ وَ اَخَاهُ وَ ابْعَثْ فِی الْمَدَآىٕنِ حٰشِرِیْنَۙ(۳۶)

They said: "Put him and his brother off awhile, and send summoners to the cities to gather

26:37

یَاْتُوْكَ بِكُلِّ سَحَّارٍ عَلِیْمٍ(۳۷)

And bring the ablest magicians to you."

26:38

فَجُمِعَ السَّحَرَةُ لِمِیْقَاتِ یَوْمٍ مَّعْلُوْمٍۙ(۳۸)

So the magicians were assembled at a stated time and place on an appointed day.

26:39

وَّ قِیْلَ لِلنَّاسِ هَلْ اَنْتُمْ مُّجْتَمِعُوْنَۙ(۳۹)

And the people were also asked to assemble.

26:40

لَعَلَّنَا نَتَّبِـعُ السَّحَرَةَ اِنْ كَانُوْا هُمُ الْغٰلِبِیْنَ(۴۰)

(They said): "We may haply follow the magicians if they are victorious."
