اَلْوَاقِعَة

96 Ayaat مکیۃ

56:41

وَ اَصْحٰبُ الشِّمَالِ ﳔ مَاۤ اَصْحٰبُ الشِّمَالِؕ(۴۱)

But those of the left hand -- how (unhappy) those of the left hand --

56:42

فِیْ سَمُوْمٍ وَّ حَمِیْمٍۙ(۴۲)

Will be in the scorching wind and boiling water,

56:43

وَّ ظِلٍّ مِّنْ یَّحْمُوْمٍۙ(۴۳)

Under the shadow of thick black smoke

56:44

لَّا بَارِدٍ وَّ لَا كَرِیْمٍ(۴۴)

Neither cool nor agreeable.

56:45

اِنَّهُمْ كَانُوْا قَبْلَ ذٰلِكَ مُتْرَفِیْنَۚۖ(۴۵)

They were endowed with good things

56:46

وَ كَانُوْا یُصِرُّوْنَ عَلَى الْحِنْثِ الْعَظِیْمِۚ(۴۶)

But persisted in that greater sin,

56:47

وَ كَانُوْا یَقُوْلُوْنَ ﳔ اَىٕذَا مِتْنَا وَ كُنَّا تُرَابًا وَّ عِظَامًا ءَاِنَّا لَمَبْعُوْثُوْنَۙ(۴۷)

And said: "What! When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, shall we then be raised again?

56:48

اَوَ اٰبَآؤُنَا الْاَوَّلُوْنَ(۴۸)

And so will our fathers?"

56:49

قُلْ اِنَّ الْاَوَّلِیْنَ وَ الْاٰخِرِیْنَۙ(۴۹)

Say: "Indeed, the earlier and the later generations

56:50

لَمَجْمُوْعُوْنَ ﳔ اِلٰى مِیْقَاتِ یَوْمٍ مَّعْلُوْمٍ(۵۰)

Will be gathered together on a certain day which is predetermined.

56:51

ثُمَّ اِنَّكُمْ اَیُّهَا الضَّآلُّوْنَ الْمُكَذِّبُوْنَۙ(۵۱)

Then you, the erring and the deniers,

56:52

لَاٰكِلُوْنَ مِنْ شَجَرٍ مِّنْ زَقُّوْمٍۙ(۵۲)

Will eat of the tree of Zaqqum,

56:53

فَمَالِــٴُـوْنَ مِنْهَا الْبُطُوْنَۚ(۵۳)

Fill your bellies with it,

56:54

فَشٰرِبُوْنَ عَلَیْهِ مِنَ الْحَمِیْمِۚ(۵۴)

And drink over it scalding water,

56:55

فَشٰرِبُوْنَ شُرْبَ الْهِیْمِؕ(۵۵)

Lapping it up like female camels raging of thirst with disease."

56:56

هٰذَا نُزُلُهُمْ یَوْمَ الدِّیْنِؕ(۵۶)

Such will be their welcome on the Day of Judgement.

56:57

نَحْنُ خَلَقْنٰكُمْ فَلَوْ لَا تُصَدِّقُوْنَ(۵۷)

It is He who created you, then why do you not affirm the truth?

56:58

اَفَرَءَیْتُمْ مَّا تُمْنُوْنَؕ(۵۸)

Just consider (the semen) that you emit,

56:59

ءَاَنْتُمْ تَخْلُقُوْنَهٗۤ اَمْ نَحْنُ الْخٰلِقُوْنَ(۵۹)

Do you create it, or We are its creator?

56:60

نَحْنُ قَدَّرْنَا بَیْنَكُمُ الْمَوْتَ وَ مَا نَحْنُ بِمَسْبُوْقِیْنَۙ(۶۰)

We have incorporated death in your constitution, and We shall not be hindered

56:61

عَلٰۤى اَنْ نُّبَدِّلَ اَمْثَالَكُمْ وَ نُنْشِئَكُمْ فِیْ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُوْنَ(۶۱)

From replacing you with others or raising you in a way you do not know.

56:62

وَ لَقَدْ عَلِمْتُمُ النَّشْاَةَ الْاُوْلٰى فَلَوْ لَا تَذَكَّرُوْنَ(۶۲)

You have known the first creation, then why do you not reflect?

56:63

اَفَرَءَیْتُمْ مَّا تَحْرُثُوْنَؕ(۶۳)

Just ponder over what you sow:

56:64

ءَاَنْتُمْ تَزْرَعُوْنَهٗۤ اَمْ نَحْنُ الزّٰرِعُوْنَ(۶۴)

Do you give it its increase, or are We the giver?

56:65

لَوْ نَشَآءُ لَجَعَلْنٰهُ حُطَامًا فَظَلْتُمْ تَفَكَّهُوْنَ(۶۵)

We could turn it, if We pleased, into straw; then you would rue the day,

56:66

اِنَّا لَمُغْرَمُوْنَۙ(۶۶)

(And say:) "We have fallen into debt;

56:67

بَلْ نَحْنُ مَحْرُوْمُوْنَ(۶۷)

Indeed, we have been deprived of the fruits of our labour."

56:68

اَفَرَءَیْتُمُ الْمَآءَ الَّذِیْ تَشْرَبُوْنَؕ(۶۸)

Consider the water that you drink.

56:69

ءَاَنْتُمْ اَنْزَلْتُمُوْهُ مِنَ الْمُزْنِ اَمْ نَحْنُ الْمُنْزِلُوْنَ(۶۹)

Do you send it down from the clouds, or We send it down?

56:70

لَوْ نَشَآءُ جَعَلْنٰهُ اُجَاجًا فَلَوْ لَا تَشْكُرُوْنَ(۷۰)

We could make it brackish, if We pleased; so why do you not acknowledge thanks?

56:71

اَفَرَءَیْتُمُ النَّارَ الَّتِیْ تُوْرُوْنَؕ(۷۱)

Consider the fire that you strike (and get by friction).

56:72

ءَاَنْتُمْ اَنْشَاْتُمْ شَجَرَتَهَاۤ اَمْ نَحْنُ الْمُنْشِــٴُـوْنَ(۷۲)

Have you raised its tree, or We have raised it?

56:73

نَحْنُ جَعَلْنٰهَا تَذْكِرَةً وَّ مَتَاعًا لِّلْمُقْوِیْنَۚ(۷۳)

We have made it as a reminder and convenience for the needy.

56:74

فَسَبِّحْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الْعَظِیْمِ۠(۷۴)

So glorify your Lord, the most supreme.

56:75

فَلَاۤ اُقْسِمُ بِمَوٰقِعِ النُّجُوْمِۙ(۷۵)

So I call the placement of the stars to witness --

56:76

وَ اِنَّهٗ لَقَسَمٌ لَّوْ تَعْلَمُوْنَ عَظِیْمٌۙ(۷۶)

And this surely is great evidence if you can understand --

56:77

اِنَّهٗ لَقُرْاٰنٌ كَرِیْمٌۙ(۷۷)

That this is indeed the glorious Qur´an

56:78

فِیْ كِتٰبٍ مَّكْنُوْنٍۙ(۷۸)

(Inscribed) in the well-kept Book.

56:79

لَّا یَمَسُّهٗۤ اِلَّا الْمُطَهَّرُوْنَؕ(۷۹)

Only they can reach it who are clean (of mind).

56:80

تَنْزِیْلٌ مِّنْ رَّبِّ الْعٰلَمِیْنَ(۸۰)

It has been revealed by the Lord of all the worlds.
