113:0

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful.

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

113:1

قُلْ اَعُوْذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِۙ(۱)

SAY: "I SEEK refuge with the Lord of rising day

Say: 'I take refuge with the Lord of the Daybreak

113:2

مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَۙ(۲)

From the evil of what He has created,

from the evil of what He has created,

113:3

وَ مِنْ شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ اِذَا وَقَبَۙ(۳)

And the evil of evening darkness when it overspreads,

from the evil of darkness when it gathers,

113:4

وَ مِنْ شَرِّ النَّفّٰثٰتِ فِی الْعُقَدِۙ(۴)

From the evil of sorceresses who blow incantations on knots,

from the evil of the women who blow on knots,

113:5

وَ مِنْ شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ اِذَا حَسَدَ۠(۵)

From the evil of the envier when he envies.

from the evil of an envier when he envies.'
