Surah ad-Duha

اَلْضُّحٰی

11 Ayaat مکیۃ

93:0

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful.

93:1

وَ الضُّحٰىۙ(۱)

I CALL TO witness the early hours of morning,

93:2

وَ الَّیْلِ اِذَا سَجٰىۙ(۲)

And the night when dark and still,

93:3

مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَ مَا قَلٰىؕ(۳)

Your Lord has neither left you, nor despises you.

93:4

وَ لَلْاٰخِرَةُ خَیْرٌ لَّكَ مِنَ الْاُوْلٰىؕ(۴)

What is to come is better for you than what has gone before;

93:5

وَ لَسَوْفَ یُعْطِیْكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرْضٰىؕ(۵)

For your Lord will certainly give you, and you will be content.

93:6

اَلَمْ یَجِدْكَ یَتِیْمًا فَاٰوٰى۪(۶)

Did He not find you an orphan and take care of you?

93:7

وَ وَجَدَكَ ضَآلًّا فَهَدٰى۪(۷)

Did He not find you perplexed, and show you the way?

93:8

وَ وَجَدَكَ عَآىٕلًا فَاَغْنٰىؕ(۸)

Did He not find you poor and enrich you?

93:9

فَاَمَّا الْیَتِیْمَ فَلَا تَقْهَرْؕ(۹)

So do not oppress the orphan,

93:10

وَ اَمَّا السَّآىٕلَ فَلَا تَنْهَرْؕ(۱۰)

And do not drive the beggar away,

93:11

وَ اَمَّا بِنِعْمَةِ رَبِّكَ فَحَدِّثْ۠(۱۱)

And keep recounting the favours of your Lord.
